Welcome to IBJAUS.
IBJAUS provides a professional, consultant-led marriage introduction program connecting eligible members with registered members of the IBJ (Japan Marriage Consulting Federation) network in Japan.
By accessing our website or enrolling in our program, you agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.
Nature of Service
IBJAUS is a professional marriage introduction and support service

We are not a dating app or casual social platform.

We support eligible members by:

Assessing suitability for participation

Preparing member profiles

Introducing members to suitable IBJ network profiles

Coordinating communication with partner consultants

Providing cultural, administrative and relationship-focused guidance where appropriate

IBJAUS does not:

Guarantee engagement or marriage

Guarantee a specific number of matches

Control IBJ member acceptance or rejection decisions

Provide legal, immigration, financial or tax advice

Eligibility Requirements

To enrol,  you must:    

Be at least 20 years old    

Have serious intention toward  marriage    

Be legally single (never  married, divorced, or widowed)    

Be legally permitted to marry    

Provide accurate and truthful  personal information    

Agree to identity verification  and documentation review    

Not have a criminal history  involving dishonesty, violence, or serious misconduct    

We reserve the right to  decline applications at our discretion.    

Providing false information  may result in immediate termination without refund.    


Program Fees & Payments

3.1  One-Time Program Fee    

IBJAUS operates a single-price complete marriage introduction program, payable only after eligibility is  confirmed and you choose to proceed.    

Details of current pricing are  published on our website.    

Fees typically include:    

Eligibility review    

Profile preparation and  submission    

Access to introductions via  IBJ network    

Ongoing consultant support  during the program term    

Government fees, translation  fees, travel costs, visa application costs, documentation or certification  fees are not included.    

3.2 Program  Duration & Renewal    

The standard program duration  is 12 months from the date of  enrolment.    

If you wish to continue after  12 months, a renewal fee of AUD 200 per month applies, charged monthly in advance.    

3.3 Payment Method    

Payments may be made via the  methods listed on our website (e.g., credit/debit card, bank transfer, etc.).    

You are responsible for any  bank or transfer charges.    

3.4 Refund Policy    

Because IBJAUS is a professional consultation and introduction service, fees are for service delivery and are  not performance-based.    

Accordingly, program fees are non-refundable, except where  required by applicable law.    

Situations where refunds are not available include, but are not  limited to:    

You change your mind    

Your circumstances change    

You fail to find a suitable  match    

An introduction does not  proceed    

A member withdraws from  communication    

Visa or relocation issues    

IBJ membership withdrawal by a  counterpart party    

Where IBJAUS has not yet  commenced services, we may consider partial refunds at our sole discretion.    


Behaviour & Conduct

You agree  to:    

Communicate respectfully    

Act honestly and ethically    

Honour commitments once  introductions proceed    

Respect cultural differences    

Follow IBJ etiquette and  guidelines    

Maintain confidentiality of  personal information shared    

Harassment, disrespectful  conduct, exploitation or harmful behaviour may result in termination of  membership without refund.    


Confidentiality & Privacy

We handle  your personal information confidentially and in accordance with applicable  privacy legislation.    

Your data may be shared only  with:    

IBJ-registered partner  consultants    

Administrative processing  partners    

Service providers supporting  our operations    

We do not sell personal data.    

You agree not to misuse, copy,  store or distribute personal information received during the introduction  process.    


Immigration & Legal Matters

IBJAUS  does not provide:    

Visa advice    

Immigration representation    

Legal advice    

Financial advice    

Tax consulting    

You should consult  appropriately qualified professionals independently.    


Website Use

You agree  not to:    

Misuse or interfere with our  website    

Conduct scraping or automated  data collection    

Reproduce or distribute  content without consent    

All website content is the  intellectual property of IBJAUS unless otherwise stated.    


Limitation of Liability

To the  maximum extent permitted by law:    

IBJAUS is not liable for  emotional distress, loss of opportunity, time, money, or indirect damages    

IBJAUS is not responsible for  the actions, decisions, honesty, behaviour or conduct of any member or third  party    

IBJAUS makes no guarantee of  outcomes    

Where liability cannot be  excluded, it is limited to the total program fees paid.    


Termination of Membership

We may  suspend or terminate membership where:    

False or misleading  information is provided    

Behaviour breaches program  expectations    

Criminal conduct is identified    

Safety concerns arise    

Fees are unpaid    

Termination for cause does not  entitle you to a refund.    


Amendments

We may  amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.    

Updates will be posted on our  website with a revised effective date.    

Continued use of our services  constitutes acceptance of amendments.    


Governing Law

These  Terms & Conditions are governed by the applicable laws of Japan and/or Australia, depending on  the service location and contract execution.    

Any disputes shall be resolved  in the relevant jurisdiction.
